ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis. In a nut shell, this is the science behind teaching and learning, that focuses on "socially significant" skills. There are decades of research on ABA therapy being an evidence-based practice.
ABA is recognized as a highly effective method for teaching individuals on the Autism spectrum. BUT people of all ages, abilities, and disabilities can benefit from ABA-based interventions!

I will work with you to create treatment plans that are completely individualized to your child and your family's needs. I will work with you to select skills to teach that are going to make the biggest positive impact in your child's life. An example of skills we might work on are functional communication skills, social behavior and social play skills, daily living skills and self management skills.
Time to Blooms approach to ABA therapy can be described as "naturalistic". I aim to make learning fun for every learner while finding those opportunities to practice chosen skills in their natural environment. I work with you in your home and train you as well, to create ways to keep the practice going at home which will help these skills generalization across environments and people.
Intensive ABA services refers to a delivery model that provides anywhere between 30 and 40 hours of therapy per week. I do not currently offer this service, but am happy to refer out to others in the area that do.
